Staff

The Sanctuary staff do an admirable job of creating a family-like atmosphere for the children. They nurture the children's spiritual needs by helping them learn Bible verses and facilitating their regular attendance at church and youth group meetings. The children attend public school, and the staff help with homework, standardized testing, and college prep.

The staff receive a very basic stipend that doesn't match their labor of love. Although the older children help with the chores, there is an unimaginable amount of work to be done. All of the activities of typical family life happen at a much larger scale when ten people share a house. Meals need to be cooked, clothes need to be washed, and bodies need to be bathed.

From the heart of Romanian directors Atilla & Dana Pal:

We are so thankful for friends like you that pray for us! Please pray for us, so we can continue to be a part of God’s answer to these orphaned children, to love and care for them with the love of God. Every child needs someone to love them. God is fully capable of restoring beauty to broken lives and our prayer is that He will take our efforts and produce what only He can - changed lives.

Pray to God to bless our hands and lead and guide our hearts in the Lord for their sake. Our children are growing, and we see in them children with hope for the future. We believe that these kids are the next generation of church leaders.

Thank you for your continued prayers and financial support! We are thankful God calls us together to work for His kingdom!
